What stays on your device

Every calculator runs in your browser. Amounts, incomes, invoice details and business information are never sent to our servers. To make the site more convenient, some of it is saved in your browser’s local storage on this device only:

• your colour theme and last-used province and pay period;
• your recent sales tax calculations and your salary comparison list (up to 10 each);
• your invoice draft and business details in the invoice generator.

You can clear these at any time from the tools themselves or by clearing your browser’s site data.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and tools are used, so we can improve them. It is off by default: until you choose “Allow analytics”, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode that doesn’t store identifiers on your device. If you allow it, Google may set cookies to measure visits. We never send calculator inputs to Google Analytics, and we don’t use advertising features.

You can change your choice by clearing this site’s data in your browser; the consent prompt will appear again.

Hosting and logs

Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type and time) for security and troubleshooting. Logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify you.

Offline use

The site installs a service worker so pages and calculators you’ve visited keep working offline. It stores site files only, not your data.

Your rights

Because we don’t collect your calculator data, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For any privacy question, contact us through our maintainer, BetterBlue Studio.
